For an exceptionally discreet, effective and simple way to straighten your teeth, look no further than Reveal Clear Aligners. The highly aesthetic aligners are beautifully clear, resistant to staining and give you the smile you deserve in an easy to wear and affordable treatment.
It’s no secret that many people today are concerned with the way their smile looks, with many choosing clear aligner technology to improve appearance, function and confidence. Reveal Clear Aligners are an innovative, aesthetic and minimally invasive treatment, able to boost your confidence even during your straightening journey with their superior clarity and virtually invisible nature.
During an initial consultation appointment, we examine your teeth and gums, making sure you are suitable for treatment. We talk you through the clear aligner process and give you the chance to ask us any questions.
We take digital scans, impressions and images of your teeth, which are used to create your personalised treatment plan. Digital technology also ensures your clear aligners will be comfortable, well-fitting and precise, easily able to be worn for 22 hours per day.
When your aligners have been created, we show you how they fit in your mouth and make sure you are happy with how to use them. During your teeth straightening journey, we see you regularly to keep an eye on your progress, give you the next aligners, and make small adjustments if needed. The series of aligners move your teeth little by little until your final straight smile has been achieved.
When your last aligner has been worn for the appropriate amount of time, your treatment is complete! As the last stage of your Reveal Clear Aligner journey, we give you a retainer to keep your teeth in their new positions.
What is the difference between Reveal Clear Aligners and Invisalign?
The general principle of treatment with Reveal Clear Aligners and Invisalign is very similar, as both use clear aligner technology to gradually move teeth to new positions. There are some important differences though. Reveal aligners have a scalloped edge, fitting over the gum margin to give a greater grip and comfort, removing the need for any attachments. The reveal aligners are also less likely to stain or discolour.
Will other people be able to tell I have clear aligners?
Reveal clear aligners are ultra-clear, stain resistant and truly virtually invisible when worn. Other people will not be able to tell you are wearing them unless you tell them!
How long do I need to wear my clear aligners for each day?
Your clear aligners should be always in your mouth, unless you are eating, drinking or brushing your teeth. If you remove them for longer, or forget to put them back in your mouth after eating, they cannot be at work and your straightening treatment will be paused and even delayed. It is important to wear the aligners for 20-22 hours per day to keep your treatment on track.
How long do Reveal Clear Aligners take to straighten teeth?
The total treatment time for Reveal clear aligners depends on the complexity of your case and the results you wish to achieve. The further your teeth have to move, the longer you can expect your treatment to take. On average, Reveal aligner treatment is completed in 6-12 months, but please speak to your dentist for an estimated timeframe for your particular case.
Why do I need to wear a retainer?
Teeth are constantly moving and shifting, and have a habit of returning to their original positions if not maintained, undoing all your hard work. A retainer keeps your teeth in their new positions, keeping your smile straight and prolonging your results. Retainers can be fixed or removable, with bonded wire retainers always in place but hidden from view. Vacuum-formed removable retainers, which look similar to a mouthguard, are able to be taken out. We advise these are worn on a part time basis (overnight works well) indefinitely to maintain your smile.
